FUDCon Berlin 2009 is Past

It was good to hang out with old and new Friends, the spirit was quite similar to our FAD's but in a larger scale. The Organization by Fabian, Gerold and Max was perfect. Mostly i had to deal with the Logistics around Linuxtag and all in all i could only join for 1,5 Days. I attended the EventBox Session and we will see what will happen with the result from that session - we tried that 2 years ago and did not managed it.



I was also very interested to see how things will proceed with fedoracommunity. We had a nice conversation in Mo's Session about fedoracommunity - i can not wait to see what information from other Groups can be obtained by a Trac-Interface - Events, Artwork-Tasks, new Documentations ... endless possibilities!

I joined one Design Team Session as well. I learned - even if you have no advanced graphical Skills - Feedback is needed and welcome for improvement - if you tell why!



Chitlesh was brilliant as always! Fedora Electronic Lab turns to become a real concern for some proprietary suppliers in the Electronic Industrie ;)



And finally we have got some work done for the Ambassador Administration and now the Ambassador Membership Process can be followed by our Trac Instance

In the next days i will bring some stuff back to the RedHat Office Stuttgart - so do not forget to store enough coffee for me ;)

Linuxtag&FUDCon Berlin 2009

I am back from my Fedora Logistic Job for Linuxtag/FUDCon Berlin.
To present Fedora in a perfect light on FUDCon, we produced 5 new huge Banners, one for every Foundation + one extra with all Foundations.



After we unloaded all what i brought with me from Stuttgart, we picked up the Stuff from the RedHat Office Berlin - the CD's and DVD's Design looked nice but they were in terrible shape - like just dropped out of the Airplain - i am sure someone has to pay for that broken boxes. After we filled the Car up with all that stuff, Thomas had only a cosy hole in the car ;)



I will be back on Saturday and Sunday for FUDCon Day 2&3
Lets see how we use all that great stuff.
